Rios’s work focuses on curation and research in digital art. The founder of [ANTI]MATERIA, an online platform dedicated to research and the exhibition of art produced through digital media, Ríos facilitates international exchanges between artists, curators, managers, and professionals interested in the practice. As part of the project she’s curated exhibitions in Mexico and in the United Kingdom. Her professional career developed simultaneously in fields like curatorial practice, museography, exhibition design, audiovisual production, and research. She’s shown a particular interest in the transition between the virtual and the physical, as well as in the development of digital art in Latin America. She’s currently teaching in the Digital Art department of the Autonomous University of Mexico State, and working as an independent curator and researcher.
