Junior Boys (CA)

Proclaimed as being the inevitable next level of a style described as futuristic and romantic electro-pop, Junior Boys bestow upon us the honor of their first visit to Montreal. Structured with electronic instruments and computers, their music easily qualifies as POP, thanks largely to the voice of singer Jeremy Greenspan. Helped by Matt Didemus, the group delivers their very latest compositions from the Kin-released album Last Exit-an elegant mixture of electronica and understated references to the Cold Wave era of the 1980s. As an ensemble, they are agile, yet subtle.
