Crackhaus (CA)

With Crackhaus, Scott Monteith (Deadbeat), passionate student of electronic dub and the author of many pristine compositions for the Scape label, finds an impulsive companion in Steven Beaupré. Remarkable craftsmen of rhythm, the members of the duo play with conventions and breathe a touch of voluntary kitsch into their compositions. The two musicians are intent upon communicating a musical delirium that can be light, playful and tenacious-it's a task they take as seriously as it is difficult. Their 'house,' decorated with surprises, ruptures, built on vibrating structures, astonishes at first glance. Beware, rising stars: Crackhaus' wild performance is literally intended to crack the house!
