Dominic Vanchesteing is a composer, arranger and producer of albums. In 2006, he co-founded the group Plaza Musique. After a debut album in 2007 entitled L’Amour et l’Occident, the Montreal sextet returned in 2009 with the Accent EP, which was nominated for a 2010 Grammy Award. Dominic Vanchesteing has since expanded his circle of collaborations with artist from all horizons, including Pas Chic Chic, Tenzier, Bernardino Femminielli and Jef Barbara. Having previously collaborated with the legendary R. Stevie Moore, he recently had the opportunity to pay tribute to the "DIY pioneer" alongside the likes of Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, Martin Newell and Jason Falkner. For the last decade, he’s also performed in numerous electro-acoustic and noise configurations in the Montreal scene as part of the the performance-projections organized by the Cinémathèque Québécoise.
