Cobblestone Jazz (CA)

The diverse currents of electronic jazz, house, and funk flow together in the music of Cobblestone Jazz. The Victoria, B.C. trio includes DJ/producer Mathew Jonson, keyboardist Danuel Tate and programmer/producer Tyger Dhula. Their live show has been gathering fans every time they're unleashed. Mathew Jonson, known for his minimal house compositions on the Itiswhatitis label, has worked with artists like Luciano ('Alpine Rocket' on Perlon) and remixed the likes of Nelly Furtado. The trio's live show includes a healthy dose of improvisation and allows the group to continually reinvent itself, much to the pleasure of all. Highly anticipated.
