Tazz and Giovanni are arguably one of Montreal's best kept secret in the underground House and Techno scenes. The duo's expertise, aside from their meaningful experience in all aspects of the field - from organizing parties to djing and producing - is about making you reconsider timeless sounds with a fresh vision, offering structural revival and breathing to classical electronic grooves.
The most interesting is that, with over 8 releases under the belt, signed on labels such as Underground Quality, Tsuba, New Kanada, Town House Music, Tulipa Records and the latest one on Sistrum Recordings ; we are constantly invited to a smoothly designed listening experience, combining sparse with precise sounds reaching us like an evidence, never too charged, and therefore elegantly put together.
One might expect from their live set melodies balancing between the subtle and the hypnotic, to higher levels of punchiness yet remaining, always, gracefully shaped.

Two veteran electronic music producers Tazz and Giovanni Randisi ally themselves to make music, parties and a scene in Montréal. An electronic music fixture in the city since the end of the 90s as a DJ, Tazz turned to producing deep melodic house and raw tech house, before finding Randisi. With several releases under their belt – from the 2012 modern house album Adventures of Tazz on UK label Tsuba Records to the dark and synthy techno dub of Cosmic Sex, Tazz and Giovanni Randisi operate with precise production chops and smoothly designed listening in mind. Under the group name 12 to 30, their late-2015 deep house collaboration (with Bacanito) delivers a warm and heavily textured mix of smooth beats, atmospheric synths and effects worthy of sci-fi.
Tazz and Giovanni Randisi come to MUTEK with a live set tailor made for a big room, full of graceful melodies balanced in serene tension with hypnotic grooves and easy beats.
