Barda is an electronic music producer with a unique vision of digital folkloric fusion. Inspired mainly by the Latin American rhythms and the sounds of the world, she constructs sound landscapes of organic electronics fusing beatmaking, acoustic instruments, synthetizers, voices and sampling; delivering music meant both for the dance floor as for contemplative listening.
Barda conceives the digital production as a tool to carry out his ideas into electronic music with a slower tone than his contemporaries. She produces beats from the roots with one foot in Latin America and another in Africa.
With cross influences from Mercedes Sosa, Alan Parson Project, Violeta Parra or Pink Floyd, their sets circulate the dance crossing the slow house with folkloric coplas, leading to a brand new sound constructed by ancestral elements, polyrhythms, natural grooves and a lot of texture interaction.
Barda is presented in live set accompanied by voices by Gus.
