Society for Arts and Technology [SAT]
During the day, Kapotte Muziek will be giving a sound creation workshop at the SAT. Participants will receive a short introduction to electro-acoustic music, learn how to make contact microphones and use them in field recordings of found objects. The course will end with a presentation at Happy Hour by the three members of Kapotte Muziek and their "students". By re-mixing sounds gleaned from the performance site on location, they invite the audience to visit the space - not with their eyes, but with their ears.
