The seventh edition of the MUTEK festival kicks off with a program centred on artistic playfulness. From Pierre Bastien’s theatre of mechanical robots to abstract image-sound sculpturing (Rubik's® cube handling by the Artificial Collective; the S.S.S. trio with their gesture interactions), the seemingly simple approaches masks an exploratory will and a complexity of unusual objects.  The stage morphs into an unconventional laboratory of creation.
