Experience 1 is a late-afternoon showcase that serves as a meeting place for the festivities to follow later in the evening. This happy-hour cocktail showcase at the Coeur des Sciences highlights two emerging Canadian experiments in sound, motion, and manipulation. This year the multi-talented Ben Shemie arrives at Mutek to present “Middle Clouds: Family A, B, C”. Meanwhile, liberated from the computer screen and equipped with hands-on objects, Martin Messier and Jacques Poulin-Denis explore a new form of expression with "The Pencil Project".
