Better known as a member of Cobblestone Jazz, the Danuel Tate experience hinges on his versatility as a classically trained pianist, a skill he honed on the West Coast performing with many different musicians. Recorded live at MUTEK 2011 soon after the release of his debut solo album, Tate here takes an unsuspecting audience on a revelatory journey through the jazzier tendencies of house music.  This was one of the truly inspirational moments among our recent editions.

Though Tate returns this year  to play for larger audiences as part of the 13th edition, today we listen back to that memorable night he performed alongside Montreal's Horror Inc, Japan's Radiq, and Berlin trio Wareika.
