Based in Germany, Philipp studied directing for film and television and editing. For the last few years he has been working on experimental, omnidirectional moving image content with different technologies in different contexts, while also working as a consultant for omnidirectional recording at Frauenhofer. His recent projects include the first 180° narrative sci-fi film The Imagonautwhich had its premiere during the 2014 Berlinale International film festival, the development and direction for Future of VR, and a VR theatre project with Alexander Gische, Yesterday You Said Tomorrow, which will open the 2015/16 season. This September he launched a website for a joint venture between and reallifefilm and the technical and creative team behind The Imagonaut.
