Chiedza Pasipanodya works diligently as a curator, artist and writer in a variety of themes concerned with liberation, unearthing, in-between spaces, nuances and The Universal. Her preferred mediums are collage, painting, photography and writing. She is currently studying at OCAD University in Criticism and Curatorial Practices, curating across the city, educating and art-making. Chiedza recently showed work in Altar Call: The Architecture of Black Sacred Space at Rootwork Gallery for the Chicago Architecture Biennial and co-curated the Hacking Black Futures show alongside Andre Baynes. She is presently a member of the We Curate, We Critique Collective, an arts collective invested in expanding the ways in which creative work by Black Canadians is engaged, promoted and supported. They recently presented at the Creative Time Summit in Toronto.
