In fall of 2017, the Digital Committee of Culture Montréal gathered all the actors of the community around the Declaration Montréal: World Capital of Digital Art and Creativity. The Committee continues its efforts with this initiative as part of MUTEK_IMG. A full day of sessions aims to deepen the initial reflection and bring together the lifeblood of the digital art and creativity ecosystem — namely its artists, creators, researchers, entrepreneurs, and representatives of industries and institutions, in order to increase dialogue, cross-pollination and consultation.
The objective of this activity is to share Montreal digital committee’s work progress. The participants will then be invited to three conferences in which the connection between the arts and the creative industries will be explored. Cases where the community has been able to unify and combine their practices and concerns will also be examined.
Moderated by :

A Digital Committee workshop will be held in the afternoon.
