MESSAGE FROM THE MINISTERS

The overwhelming and ever-evolving creativity and talent of our artists is seen especially in digital art and new technologies. We fully expect some artistic gems to emerge, now and in the years to come. MUTEK is a festival that invites tourists and people from Montréal alike to discover the daring and innovative works being created today.

We are pleased to support this original event, which helps bolster Montreal’s international reputation as not only a hub for digital culture but also a place for experimentation, with its wide range of captivating and never-before-seen artistic activities.

We join MUTEK organizers in inviting the public, wherever they are from, to take part in this Montreal event and experience the city’s unique ambience.

We hope everyone will make rewarding discoveries and have an inspiring time.
