International Festival of Digital Creativity and Electronic Music
On and off stage, across genres from dance to drone, modular synthesizers new and old have become near ubiquitous tools for constructing contemporary electronic music. In the context of the MOOG Audio Showroom, join CHRISTINA SEALEY (ORPHX), SARAH DAVACHI and RICHARD SMITH in a discussion about modulars that aims to close the gaps between technical geekery and intuitive, creative practice. Conversation topics will range from the machines themselves, instrument design, customization, artist and manufacturer dialogue, to their creative uses, synthesis techniques and approaches to composition and performance.
Moderated by Karl Fousek.
This activity will take place in English.
