Emmanuelle is the City of Montréal’s Cultural and Creative industries Officer. As such, she accompanies and facilitates projects that have a structuring impact and she contributes to the strategic development of the City and its cultural and creative sectors, including venues. She was on the consulting board for the City’s new Cultural Development Policy. She co-manages a Fund dedicated to showcases that supports exports of cultural and creative artists and products.
Prior to her work for the City, she was a cultural entrepreneur and cofounded
MU, a not-for- profit organization producing murals. She has an extensive
experience in the entertainment business acquired while touring with Cirque du Soleil, and working for Équipe Spectra (Montréal International Jazz Festival) and Just for Laughs. She holds a Master’s Degree in political science from McGill University. With several scientific publications to her name, she also won the Prize ARISTA 2011 awarded by the Montreal Youth Chamber of Commerce honoring Québec’s Socialy Responsible Business Leader.
