STM PRESENTS: 10 YEARS OF DIGITAL CREATIVITY
On Monday, April 20th , the festival inaugurates a one-of-a-kind collaboration with the Société de Transport de Montréal to highlight the festival’s many achievements from the last nine years.
Montreal’s commuters will be greeted by a very special retrospective when they enter select stations of the city’s metro system: a photo gallery looking back on ten years of digital creativity and electronic music, as captured by MUTEK’s official photographers, MIGUEL LEGAULT and CAROLINE HAYEUR .
Running from April 20th to June 1st , this exhibit retraces the festival’s decade of supporting and, in many cases, raising the stature of digital creativity, not only here in Montreal, but as far away as Chile, Argentina, and even China. This collection of photographs delivers indelible and striking images from the cream of the international digital arts and electronic music community.
Larger than life and entirely free of charge, this exhibit is brought to you by MUTEK and the STM , in collaboration with Metromedia , Encadrex , and the Society for the Development of Saint-Laurent Boulevard .
