Saturday afternoon’s habitual takeover of the convivial grounds and multi-faceted rooms of the Antigua Fábrica Estrella Damm offers a feast of immersive experimental music, hosting some of the most anticipated debuts and premieres for 2020, with an eclectic line-up ranging from experimental, immersive performances to intense rave sounds:
Loraine James, presenting ¨For You And I¨ (Hyperdub 2019); Aquarian, debuting live in Barcelona with his latest work, ¨The Snake That Eats Itself¨ (Bedouin 2020); Ikram Bouloum, perfoming the world premiere of her live show; YPY with his live set of ambient created with analog cassettes and magnetic tapes; and Meitei presenting his acclaimed album, ¨Komachi¨
In alliance with the Master of Audiovisual Innovation and Interactive Environments of the BAU university design center, under the title 'Lux Terra', a group of students presents an exhibition made for the festival, a series of installations will be shown where light is the vehicle of revelation of the world, of the human being with himself and of his relationship with the built reality. It can be visited on Saturday, March 7, in the Cocció room of the Fabrica Estrella Damm.
Aside from the performance program, the Fabrica offers an ideal context to relax or decompress the hi voltage from the previous days, serving as a space of convergence for the festival's community.
