Panel: NFB / Interactive = 10 Years

Over the past 10 years, the National Film Board of Canada (NFB) has become one of world’s leading producer of interactive and immersive media. Releasing works like BLA BLA, Bear 71 and Do not track, the NFB has opened new narrative territories and shaped new artistic visions on social, cultural and technological mutations. From mobile to public space, from virtual reality to AI; the Vancouver and Montréal studios have produced over 150 works that reached millions of users all around the globe. Hosted by IDFA DocLab’s founder and curator Caspar Sonnen, creators Émilie F. Grenier, Vali Fugulin and Vincent Morisset will discuss what it means to make art with NFB/interactive.
