Helena Nikonole is a media artist and lecturer whose work explores intersections of art and technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of things. She's concerned with an artistic exploration of the potential possibilities—and also the potential risks— of technologies like Machine Learning, which is necessary to understand our modern, technologically and media-determined world. She presents lectures and workshops in the field of new media art, art & science and neural network in arts at different institutions including Art Laboratory (Berlin), Institute of Philosophy (Russian Academy of Sciences), the Department of Art & Culture Education Programs and Rodchenko Art School.
